Some news
Mom will see her doctor tomorrow morning because she had some bleeding from her breast. She has had a rare form of angiosarcoma that sometimes affects women with a history of breast cancer. We were going to take her to the emergency room, but my sister Elizabeth cleaned her up and found the bleeding didn't seem as extensive as we first thought, so she'll be seeing her doctor in the morning around 8. I'll try to keep everyone posted.

A sad update: My mom passed away May 9 from her illness. We're having the funeral Saturday, May 18, and a private ceremony a few weeks later where her ashes will be placed next to my dad's at St. Dunstan's church.
